BPS Faculty and Staff are more than welcome to use personal electronic devices (such as laptops) in school and with the BPS network for educational purposes. However, because they are personal devices, the BPS Technology Department will not support, trouble-shoot, upgrade, etc. these devices. We are happy to suggest strategies to resolve issues with your personal devices, but we do not have the resources to support devices not directly under our control. If you have any questions regrading this matter please email me at ckennedy@branford.k12.ct.us.
Thank you!
Please add a line about if your personal electronic devices are found to cause network interuption or use to "hack" the network they will ask to be removed. BPS faculty and staff will still follow AUP guidlines set in BPS policy for conduct using personal devices.
Clint, please see my posting (Discussion) thanks, Rich
